The prime minister for the United Kingdom, Liz Truss, has resigned. Truss was in government for45 days in office. So far, she is the shortest-serving prime minister in the history of the United Kingdom.
Only last week her chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng was sacked from office. Kwarteng indicated that he understood his dismissal because he wanted the betterment of the UK than what others thought.
