Nick Danso Abeam, the chairman of the Nick Group of Companies, presided over the colourful 60th anniversary celebration of Osayefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyeman Badu at the Omanhene’s palace in the Bono region. This ceremony drew chiefs, dignitaries, and government officials. The event featured the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim; diaspora representatives; and paramount chiefs in Ghana and beyond. Organisers announced they raised over 438,000,000 cedis to support community projects tied to the anniversary. Dr Agyeman Badu says that his birthday proceeds will be used to create job opportunities for the youth.

Speaking to the media, Dr Danso praised the organisers for staging a glamorous occasion. He urged the press to refrain from sensational “war songs” that deepen divisions, calling instead for coverage that highlights development issues. He emphasised the need for unity among traditional leaders, specifically Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Osayefo Agyeman Badu, and Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw II, Omanhene of Techiman.

A serial entrepreneur and five-time award-winning entrepreneur, Nick Danso Abeam leads a diversified group with interests in oil, Ghana harbour CT scan services, and hospitality operations in Ghana and the wider West African region. His firms are noted for youth employment initiatives, corporate social investments, and public-private partnerships that have strengthened his reputation as a leading business figure and community benefactor.

The presence of Stoneboy at the ceremony moved Oseadeyo Agyeman Badu to the dancing floor.
