Drivers are being mandated to carry along with their original driving license and other documents any time they drive to avoid prosecution.
The divisional MTTD police commander of Techiman in the Bono East region, DSP Andrews Kofi Okononge said, over 90 per cent of drivers who failed to provide their driving license have problems with them.
He was speaking exclusively to the director of Nkyeremu News Johnson Kofi Takyi.
DSP Andrews Okononge said, most of the faked driving license been seized by police are license D, E and F which by law qualify the drivers in possession to drive buses, articulated trucks and other heavy trucks.
He said faked driving license attributes to high road crashes recorded in Ghana and needs to be redressed.
