Thunder Strike Burns A Four Bedroom House In Techiman

A four bedroom house in the Techiman Komfourkrom of the Bono east region has been completely gutted by thunder strike destroying everything into ashes.

According to sources, the fire fighters got to the scene on time but accessibility to the house on fire became their challenged.

The house which gutted fire at 8.30 pm was been brought down at 9.50pm on Thursday, 27th 2019.

According to the house lord, Rita Adinkra who is 61 said everything in the house had been burnt into ashes including their documents. All the medicines for her husband, Yaw Takyi who is on drugs had no mercy at all by the fire.

The Nadmo had made arrangements to get all his medical reports and his drugs for him with immediate effect. Yaw Takyi has turned 70.

According to Rita Adinkra, the three persons been rendered homeless cannot boast of any material thing and need the public support.

The Techiman chief fire commander, COii Ahenkan Mensah said, several houses completely raised down by fire were due to bad accessibility.

The commander says, the public perception that, the fire service officers move their fire tender engine without much water is neither here nor there. He says their vehicles are always loaded fully with equipments which they use to operate and safe accident victims.
