A 35 Year Old Church Member Provides A Chapel For Koforidua Presbyterian Church In Bono Reg.

 

A 35-year-old Church member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, in the Busunya district of Nkoranza North, Emmanuel Agyei Danso has provided the Nkoranza- Koforidua Presbyterian church a 200 seated capacity chapel to worship their maker. It cost 60,000 GH cedis.

The Koforidua Presbyterian Church started in 1997 with 5 congregations but now 60.

According to the congregation, they used to worship in a classroom and did not augur well for the church development.

The commissioned of this chapel has increased the number of their churches in the district to 39. The First Presbyterian Church in the Nkoranza district was in early 1900.

The presbytery chairperson of BA, Rev, Dr Kwabena Ofosu Addo in his sermon charged the congregation to learn from Emmanuel Danso and suspend material things.

Emmanuel Danso Agyei said he provided the chapel as his social responsibility in the church.

The colorful commissioning was being performed by Rev Dr. Kwabena Ofosu Addo and Emmanuel Agyei Danso.

The church has since been named after Danso.
