Sunyani Presbyterian Church Leads Cleanup Exercise Campaign

 

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ebenezer Congregation has led a massive Clean up exercise and campaign in Sunyani to clear filths amidst public education and campaign against improper disposal of wastes to improve sanitary conditions in Sunyani catchment area.

The exercise which started at 6.00 am lasted for 4 hours.

The areas that were been focused on the cleanup exercise were the Regional Hospital, Municipal Hospital, and the SDA Hospital, amongst others.

Choked gutters, rubbish, bushes, and debris were cleared and collected for disposal.

Managements of the hospitals that benefited from the cleanup exercise commended the Presbyterians of Sunyani and called on other organizations to emulate their efforts.

The cleanup exercise was been attended by the Church District Minister, Rev Sam Forster Kwakye, the church Elders and their youth.

The Minister, Rev Sam Forster urged the church to make the cleanup exercise a monthly exercise.
He called on other churches and organizations to emulate their efforts.
