Omanhene Of Techiman Traditional Council Cautions Ghanaians On Social Media Reportages

 

The Omanhene of the Techiman Traditional Council, Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv has strongly cautioned Ghanaians on social media reportages which can lead the culprits into imprisonment.

Oseadeyo Akumfi iv said this when marking the Techiman Foffie Yam festival which also coincided with his 15 years of enstoolment as the Omanhene.

The Fofie Yam festival is celebrated yearly to foster good relationships among the people and to generate income for social developments.

Oseadeyo iv said several information been carried on social media is unfounded. He added that falsehood reportages had banished several innocent people from their homes.

Oseadeyo said those who are been noticed of carrying false pictures, videos, and false information will at all cost face the consequences.

On education, Omanhene, pleaded with parents to take keen interest in their wards education and desist from expensive funerals clothing.

At the colourful occasions were the Bono East regional minister, hon Kofi Amoakohene, the Mce John Donyina, and Deputy Minister for national reorganization, Agyei Mensah Korash among others.

The occasion was been attended by the traditional chiefs and their queen mothers including the Bono East regional organization executives
