Offinso North District Assembly Excels In Developmental Projects

 

In less than three years, the new baby Offinso district assembly has embarked on 59 developmental projects. About 95 percent of the projects are near completion and few others handed over for use.

In their press release, the outstanding DCE, hon. David Akwasi Asare the Adwumawura said there were few projects he continued from the previous government.

Their projects being initiated cover the areas of, health, water, education, Agric, roads, power generation including solar energy, and more.

Although the press release is poised to be hot questions but the outstanding performance of the DCE and the MP of the area silenced the journalist. In fact, the first time I observed press released with fewer questions.

The district has 25 greenhouses been the largest government greenhouses project in the country.

In less than 3 years, 27,243 farmers have benefited from the planting for food and jobs programme.

In addition, the district has in their stock modern farming equipment to support the farmers engage in commercial farming.

For the best result of their farm produce, the district has a vegetable warehouse and agrochemicals factory which are all near completion.

On education, 76 tertiary students in the district have benefited from their scholarship. An amount of Ghc 60,000.00 has been allocated to disburse.

In the hotel industry, their new assembly block would have been described as a 3-star hotel facility.

The DCE, hon. David Akwasi Asare commended the MP of the Offinso consistency, hon Augustin Collins Ntim for his immense support to the district.

Nana Kofi Aboagye III, the chief of Offinso Asempaneye praised the MP hon Augustin Collins Ntim and the DCE, hon David Akwasi Asare for their hard working in the area.
