Aworano People Gripped In Fears As High Tension Cables Scatter In The Community

 

The people of Aworano community in the Techiman North of Bono East are living in total fears due to fallen high tension cables now been preferred lying on houses and on the bare ground maybe change of environment.

Thousands of the people in this community will remain in total darkness for a couple of days since no effort had been taken yet.

Nkyeremu News captured several of the high tension poles been broken. Authorities have to find out whether the poles were seasoned enough.

Information gathered indicates, the VRA staff had visited some places of Aworano but others had not heard from them since they were hit by the rainstorm yesterday.

About 24 hours after the calamity the people had not seen any sign of relief.

Some of the inhabitants speaking with Nkyeremu News said several of their household items in their refrigerators had started getting bad.
Maame Fati of Aworano said she informed the assemblyman of the area but no positive result yielded.

The area manager of the Techiman VRA Elvis speaking off-camera explained to Nkyeremu News that, over ten communities were been hit by the rainstorm. He said he had deployed his men to restore all the affected areas within the shortest possible time.
