The Bamirehene of the Techiman Traditional Area, Nana Asare Baffour II has pleaded with the government to switch more attention on solar power borehole Irrigation to help farmers to run holistic all-year-round farming.

Nana said this in an exclusive interview with Nkyeremu News after the commissioned of Zatacan factory in Techiman.

Nana said solar power Irrigation is cheaper, more reliable and easier to fix than the one dam projects.

Nana indicated that there are several farming communities where one dam project cannot be implemented due to the location but borehole irrigation is possible.

The Nigerian Zatacan factory executive partner of Techiman-Bamire in the Bono East region, Onyenka Ndudim explained how easier and simpler the solar power can be fixed.

Zatacan factory is a company made up of a Ghanaian, Nigerian, and Spanish.
