President Akufo Addo Will Drop His Last Blood To Save SHS- Peter Mensah, DCE

 

The distinguished and well-esteemed able DCE of the Techiman North, Hon Peter Mensah who emerged the best performed MDCE in the Bono East and rated 16th best-performed MMDCEs in Ghana, has said president Akufo Addo would drop his last blood to save free SHS policy.

Hon Peter Mensah says education according to Nana Akufo Addo is the only key that can change the image of Ghana.

He says Nana Addo has changed the idea of education been noted for the elite wards.

Hon Peter Mensah speaking to the students of Akrofom Day Senior High School in the Techiman North District of Bono East region said, apart from the free education, the government has a decentralized scholarship scheme to all district capitals to benefit the deserved students to attain tertiary education.

He said, the Nana Addo government took the hardest decision for the establishment of the free SHS and needed every bit of support to maintain it at all costs.

Hon Peter Mensah has designed a 5-day tour in all the 6 Senior High schools of Techiman North to address their urgent challenges.

He ended by saying that, indirectly, parents have saved thousands of cedis in their accounts due to free education policy.

The headmaster of the Akrofom community day school, Sylvester Opoku says, free SHS has increased student enrolment and had reduced parents financial challenges.
