Hundreds of people in the Techiman Aworana of the Bono East region have been rendered homeless after series of rainstorm ripped off 78 houses. Items valued thousands of Ghana cedis have been destroyed.
After a week, many of the victims are still homeless the assemblyman of the Aworowa Mangoasi electoral area, hon Amponsa Kakabo told Nkyeremu News.
He said the building materials been donated by the MP of the area, hon Martin Oti Gyarko was not enough and still calling on Ghanaians to help the vulnerable people who hardly make ends meet during these difficult times.
The rainstorm did not have mercy at all on Aworano Golden International private school owned by a retired educationist, Mr. Nyamekye who was already thinking of how to pay his teachers during this lockdown period.
