Techiman tomato factory which was been commissioned during the era of former president J A Kuffour had not been in production yet.

 

The CEO of the Techiman Processing Complex company (TEPCO), Wil Aparloo Ofori has pleaded with the government to expand their tomato Greenhouse to enable the company begins processing.

The CEO Wil Aparloo Ofori says their Greenhouse research centre has proven that the company is on good track to expand their Greenhouse farming for their production.

Wil Aparloo Ofori the CEO of the company and also a food specialist says all that the company needs is fund to expand their Greenhouse farming to begin processing.

He says, the company has already acquired over 500 hectares of land to engage the people in Greenhouse farming.

Wil Aparloo Ofori says the quality and the demand of Greenhouse tomato is far ahead of the local tomato which has lesser life spine.

Obed Kwasi Agama a staff of the company has pleaded with the government to finance the TEPCO company to create job opportunities for the people.
