Cocoa Farmers Of Bono East Region Plead For Pension Pay

The Cocoa Farmers of the Bono East region have pleaded with the government to plan ahead of their pension payments.

This was been disclosed when Nkyeremu News team visited some of the cocoa farming communities with the Techiman Cocoa District officer, Aboagye Fredrick in the Bono East.

The farmers claimed Ghana gains more of her revenue from cocoa produced by the farmers but their treatment had not been the best ever since.

It shows clearly that, if cocoa farmers are being put on pension pay it will encourage more people in the cocoa farming business.

Kwabena Ntim, a cocoa farmer of Krobo in the Techiman north of Bono East commends the government for the free supply of the cocoa
seedling.

Kwabena Ntim pleaded with the government to make cocoa farming a lucrative business venture by adding the cocoa farmers to enjoy pension pay.
