The president of the Africa volleyball Confederation and also the first vice president of Ghana Olympic Committee, Paul Atchoe has commended the Bono East regional volleyball association for their keen interest to lift the image of the game which is gradually sinking.
The legend, Paul Atchoe said during the inauguration of the Bono East regional volleyball association held in Techiman holy family canteen.
The former volleyball players said the region has more volleyball talents and other sportsmen who can equally help to build our national teams.
Paul Atchoe says he has toured several regions but the attention of the people in the Bono East region for the volleyball can help to build better national team players to feature our national teams.
The first vice president of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Paul Atchoe has strongly cautioned the volleyball players to cultivate the habit of discipline which is the hallmark of the game.
He praised the chairman of the occasion in the person of Dr. Ernest Ameyaw the medical director of the Techiman holy family hospital for his talk on discipline and hardworking on the part of the players.
Paul Atchoe has pleaded with the government and other organizations to switch much attention to volleyball to make the game more attractive.
