The Bono East region has selected a 15 member committee to organize the 36th edition of the National Farmers Day Celebration which will be hosted in Techiman of the Bono East region.
The Bono East regional minister, hon Kofi Amoakohene addressing the house urged to the various committees formed to work vigorously to finish all preparations before 6th November 2020.
On record, the Bono East region has been the first among the six newly established regions to host the prestige Farmers Day Celebration.
He said there would be an exhibition show among individual farmers to showcase their farm products.
He added, the agricultural sector will also showcase modernized technology farming to make the occasion more educative and lovely.
In 2008, Techiman was been selected to host the national Farmers Day Celebration under former president JA Kuffour’s administration.
The enthusiastic and able Bono East regional minister, hon Kofi Amoakohene speaking to the media said, he has a strong and powerful team to host the 36th Farmers Day Celebration in a grand style.
The minister said the six select local committees would blend ideas with the national planning committee for possible interventions and reforms.
The regional minister urged the media houses in the region to disseminate the message of hosting the national Farmers Day Celebration in all their daily activities.
