Frederick Moore, the managing director of Accra Hearts of Oak, has emphasized that even if the team hasn’t been as successful as it once was, they are still the continental club champions. The rainbow colours are so lovely that one cannot despise them. The rainbow colours are unique and lovely!
The CAF Champions League [2000], CAF Confederations Cup [2004], and CAF Super Cup [2001] were all won by the Ghana Premier League powerhouses between 2000 and 2004 as they ruled the African continent.
In the last decade, the club which is nicknamed the Phobians has failed to keep their performance at the top level and continues to struggle to perform on the local scene.
Speaking to Kumasi FM, MD Frederick Moore says that does not change the fact that they are the continental club masters.
“We are still the continental club masters. We have been reviewing how we have not won a trophy in a while but some of the big clubs in the world have also gone a long time without a title, the most important thing is that we are still the continental club masters. Yaanom will disagree, it is their case!
“We continue to be the continental club champions. We have been discussing how we haven’t won a trophy in a while, but some of the biggest teams in the world haven’t either. What matters most, he added, is that we have one of the best board chairs, a strong board, and talented players.
Mr. Moore underlined once more, saying, “We cannot lose the continental club masters due to our previous actions. We are headed toward greater things, in my opinion, because of the stability at the top.
