It is only in the era of planting for food and job creation that a bag of maize shot to 5.50 Ghana cedis, an unprecedented increase.<\/p>\n<p>Though many Ghanaians never saw the locations of these farms but the Agric minister, Hon. Owusu Afriye Akoto and his media championed this as a success that will help to produce enough food for local consumption and for export.<\/p>\n<p>The yellow maize farm below is what we called planting for food and job creation.<\/p>\n<p>Without irrigation, how can you guarantee food security? Besides that, where were the farms located in Ghana?<\/p>\n<p>Every long story will have an end, you can&#8217;t create food on TV stations and social media.
