The Chiraa progressive union is calling on the government to attend to the Chiraa-Sunyani road, which is no more motorable. The Bono region is one of the oldest regions in Ghana, but the with the highest bad roads deficit.<\/p>\n

Several vehicles breakdowns on this 12-kilometer stretch of road. The communities here suffer severely from both mud and dust in the wet and dry seasons.<\/p>\n

About two months ago, the entire populace of Sunyani too to the street in red colors protesting against the same bad road network in the region.<\/p>\n

The Sunyani barrack road which started at the time of the former president, the late Prof Atta Mills is still hanging in a bad state.<\/p>\n
