You may be eligible to apply for a visa without appearing in person for an interview. Please read carefully the following instructions.<\/p>\n

Category 1:<\/h5>\n
    \n
  • Foreign Government Officials traveling on official government business \u2013\u00a0A-1, A-2\u00a0visas<\/li>\n
  • International Organizations Representatives (e.g. United Nations, World Bank) \u2013\u00a0G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4\u00a0visas<\/li>\n
  • NATO Representatives and Military Personnel traveling on official business –\u00a0NATO 1, NATO-2, NATO-3, NATO-4, NATO-5, NATO-6\u00a0visas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you are eligible to apply in one of the categories listed above, you may contact the Consular Section directly at consulbratislava@state.gov\u00a0to arrange a drop-off\/pick-up time.<\/p>\n

    Category 2:<\/h5>\n

    Some applicants are eligible for a waiver of interview. Please read the qualifications carefully below and follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n

    • Travelers age 80 or over with no prior refusals within the last two years<\/li>\n
    • Children under the age of 14 (see\u00a0Visas\u00a0for Children\u00a0for more information)<\/li>\n
    • Applicants whose personal data has not changed, who can provide the passport with a previous U.S. visa, and who meet all the following conditions:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      1. Received a visa\u00a0after August 30, 2007,<\/strong>\u00a0and had their fingers scanned.<\/li>\n
      2. Are applying for a visa in\u00a0the same category as the previous visa,<\/strong>\u00a0unless:\n
