The editorial board of the Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal is urging readers to take heed of former Attorney General William Barr\u2019s warning about what would happen if former President Donald Trump wins a second term in the White House.<\/p>\n

Barr, who quit Trump\u2019s administration amid the then-president\u2019s repeated lies about the 2020 election, last week described Trump\u2019s first term as a \u201chorror show.\u201d He predicted that if Trump wins the 2024 election, he\u2019ll\u00a0fail to deliver on conservative policies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe rebuttal from the Trump establishment will be to cite his first term, but that record supports Mr. Barr\u2019s point,\u201d the Journal wrote. \u201cWe also agree with many of Mr. Trump\u2019s policies, and we backed them during his Presidency. But his most important policy victories were conventional GOP priorities delivered by people he now denounces as \u2018RINOs.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cA fuller account of Mr. Trump\u2019s Presidency can wait for other days, but Mr. Barr\u2019s warning is one that GOP voters deserve to hear,\u201d the paper added.
