After winning last year\u2019s Swim Search open casting call,\u00a0Mady Dewey\u00a0returns to the SI Swimsuit Issue for her first destination feature with the publication. She posed for photographer Ben Watts in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

A tech professional, Dewey is the founder and CEO of a metrics-free social media app called Herd. She also works as a\u00a0product marketing manager at Discord. Dewey\u00a0told<\/a> SI Swimsuit that she\u2019s proud to be featured in a publication that is, in her words, bold, strong, and progressive.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t even describe how it feels to be a\u00a0Sports Illustrated Swimsuit\u00a0<\/em>rookie,\u201d Dewey said. \u201cLike I say it out loud, and I still don\u2019t fully recognize that that\u2019s what\u2019s happening right now. It\u2019s an honor. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am for the chance to even do this once, let alone now to get to come back and be a rookie and just to have the opportunity to try something new, try something outside what I do day in and day out has been such a joy.\u201d<\/p>\n
