The year 2008 will always be memorable for professional race car driver Danica Patrick. The 41-year-old made her SI Swimsuit debut that year, and also became the first woman to finish first in an IndyCar Series event when she won the Japan 300.<\/p>\n

The author, actress, and entrepreneur, who retired in 2018, is the sole proprietor of a certified organic wine estate, Somnium.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also the host of the\u00a0Pretty Intense<\/em>\u00a0podcast and has served as an analyst for NBC\u2019s coverage of the Indianapolis 500 and Sky Sports\u2019s Formula 1 coverage.<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of retiring included doing less,\u201d Patrick told\u00a0Fox Sports.<\/em>\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s not about keeping that same energy going. It\u2019s about cultivating other aspects of myself that will help me in other ways. Trust me, I can still access that other energy. And I do most of the time. But it\u2019s also fun to kind of be in other spaces and do other things.\u201d<\/p>\n
