Public Interest Advocate has predicted a landslide victory for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) if an election is held now and from any moment.<\/p>\n
Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah is of a strong view that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), after taking political power in 2016, has performed abysmally in managing the country\u2019s resources, leading Ghana to seek a financial bailout from the International Monetary Fund (NDC).<\/p>\n
The leading member of the Progressive People\u2019s Party (PPP) in the Ashanti Region, after defecting to NDC explained, the IMF deal and corruption under the Akufo-Addo\/Bawumia administration is enough to send NPP to the opposition.<\/p>\n
\u201cSeveral factors like the IMF deal, unprecedented level of corruption, nepotism, the opulence of government appointee, party executives, among others are going to compel electorates to vote against NPP\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026 Although the NDC stands a better chance of winning the 2024 elections, the party must remain peaceful, united, and focused and work hard to eschew complacency and gerrymandering since the NPP would not want to lose power easily to the NDC in the upcoming elections\u201d, Mr. Aboagye Danyansah stated.<\/p>\n
