The suspect, Wuni Haruna is in police custody for shooting his mother to death due to a misunderstanding that erupted between them. The shooting and the death have become a big issue in the area.<\/p>\n
Confirming the incident, the Assembly member of the Guabulga Electoral Area, Bugri Gabriel said that there was a misunderstanding between Haruna and his wife at about 7pm on June 15, 2023<\/p>\n
sources say, Haruna reportedly rushed to the room for his single-barrel gun and shot the mother dead.<\/p>\n
The assemblyman said he was informed shortly after the incident that, somebody had shot and killed her mother in cold blood. When Haruna was arrested, he said he was only trying to give a warning shot and never decided to kill her mother, but unfortunately, the pellets hit the mother.<\/p>\n
He indicated the suspect has since been picked up by the police to assist with the investigation while the deceased has been buried.<\/p>\n
