The Minister for Road and Transportation, Hon. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, commissioned an ultramodern DVLA office in Techiman of the Bono East region. This will help to facilitate the delivery of services to satisfy the desires of customers through online vehicle registration. The office also offers chances to raise public awareness, educate people about road safety, and introduce cutting-edge programs and services to enhance driver competency and responsible driving habits.<\/p>\n

The DVLA has put several measures in place to facilitate the delivery of services to satisfy the desires of their customers and also cut costs for clients who can apply online. The road minister added the Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in the quest to bring its services closer to customers and has introduced the DVLA Mobile Express Services (DMOBS) to allow customers to access services in the comfort and convenience of their locations.<\/p>\n

The chairman of the DVLA, Frank Davies says Techiman in the Bono East region has been blessed with befitting ultra-modern facilities well-equipped to run 24-hour services. He cautioned the road users to abide by all road regulations and unnecessary speeding.<\/p>\n

The Bono East regional DVLA manager, Victor Ekow Takyi Sagoe speaking to Nkyeremu News strongly cautions all drivers and riders to ensure their driving licenses are up-to-date at all times. He said one may be prosecuted when the driver’s license expires for just a few minutes before an accident occurs. He said when the driver’s license expires, vehicle insurance of the car becomes invalid. He further advised drivers to renew their licenses a month before it expires to avoid inconveniences when they get involved in accidents.<\/p>\n
