This year, Ramadan began around February 20 and concluded on Friday, ushering in Eid on Saturday. The holiday holds profound importance: it fosters self-discipline, empathy for the needy, and gratitude to Allah. Muslims break the fast with communal prayers, feasts, and charity (Zakat al-Fitr), ensuring that the poor can join the celebrations.
