Nana Akora Tua Adutwum Kyereme, the Twafohene of the Wenchi Traditional Council in the Bono region, responded that the recent pronouncement on social media by the Omanhene of Wenchi, Osayefo Ampem Annye Amoampong Tabrako III, is \u201cunfortunate\u201d and lacks justification. He stressed that the Sisirease family, the Aduana and Asona Abusua of Wenchi, have long been his backbone, and as long as they continue to support him, he cannot be removed from office.<\/p>\n

Speaking to a gathering of family members, Nana Akora Tua noted that he has served as Twafohene for more than 25 years without any confrontation with any chief, including any of the past paramount chiefs. He asked why such a move was being made now and what had actually happened to warrant it.<\/p>\n
