The Techiman holy family hospital in the Bono east region in a month records between 350-500 deliveries.<\/p>\n

In difficult times, the hospital records 5-10 child deaths mostly due to the mothers’ ill health complications.<\/p>\n

Dr Jacline Asiedu the in charge of the Holy family hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, NICU, and pediatric ward disclosed this to the Nkyeremu News after the commissioning of the NICU by the Vicar general of the Techiman Catholic diocese most reverend John Kofi Takyi<\/p>\n

The multi-purpose NICU of the Holy family hospital was been financed by Germany Rotary Friends.<\/p>\n

It has a capacity of 40 beds and 15 incubators. Dr. Jacline Adieu who is in charge of the facility said it would help to reduce most of the early childhood moralities at the hospital.<\/p>\n

The medical health director of the Holy family hospital, Dr. Ernest Ameyaw pleaded for more donors to facelift their theatre. He said they at times receive over 30 accident victims that needed equal attention to survive with their little medical equipment available.<\/p>\n

He commended the German Rotary Friends for their support.<\/p>\n
