The General Secretary of Jaman South cashew buyers and sellers association, Nana Asomah Yeboah has disclosed that anybody found with wrongly or adjusted scale in buying cashew will face prosecution.<\/p>\n

He disclosed this at their first general meeting held in Japekrom of the Bono region.<\/p>\n

He said the use of adjusted scales has several implications. He said they cheat the farmers, buy bad cashew seeds and also encourage stealing.<\/p>\n

At the meeting were customs and immigration officers. They assured that they would not allow people to transport cashew from other countries into Ghana.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian buyers and exporters have also assured to buy quality cashew to attract more foreign investors.<\/p>\n
