{"id":4404,"date":"2021-02-09T17:13:50","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T17:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nkyeremunews.com\/?p=4404"},"modified":"2021-02-09T17:13:50","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T17:13:50","slug":"blind-man-recovers-after-eye-operation-holy-family-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nkyeremunews.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/09\/blind-man-recovers-after-eye-operation-holy-family-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Blind Man Recovers After Eye Operation- Holy Family Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A 52-year-old Yaw Amponsa who has suffered from eye blindness for over a year has regained full sight after a successful eye operation performed by an ophthalmologist, Dr Osei Agyeman the in charge of the Techiman Holy Family hospital eye clinic in the Bono East region.<\/p>\n<p>In the three days session of free eye treatment, 653 persons living with eye diseases were screened for free eye treatment.<\/p>\n<p>122 of them were been diagnosed for eye operations. In three days, 72 have been successfully operated and discharged for free.<br \/>\nOthers will be attended to in working days.<\/p>\n<p>Averagely, one eye operation is charged between 1,500-3,000 Ghana cedis.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Osei Agyeman and his medical eye team have operated on 6 blind persons who have now regained their eyesight.<\/p>\n<p>Several partial blinds also regained their full sight through the replacement of an artificial eye lens by Dr Osei Agyeman.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Osei Agyeman said many Ghanaians lost their sight due to poverty. He said the delay of any eye infections could lead to eye blindness.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Osei Agyeman has called for financial support to attend to the venerable persons suffering from eye
