The Ghana forestry commission has ordered
the Sewfi Waiwso district forestry manager and his men in the Western North region to destroy all unapproved farms in the government reserved forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was being disclosed to the media by Sewfi Waiwso forestry manager, Raymond Obeng Boamah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He says apart from the people illegally farming activities in the government forests, others also embark on the illegal chain saw operations in the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He says due to their limited number and vulnerability they cannot face the illegal chain saw operators with loaded guns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forestry manager has pleaded with the authority to help combat these illegalities in the district and save the forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forestry manager has cautioned all those farming at the government forest and the illegal chain saw operators stop. He says they will soon descend on them together with the military squad to face the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
