The Brong East police has seized dozens of deadly weapons from the Kintampo blassmith shop in the Brong East region. The Bono east regional police communication officer, ASP Amponsa Bosia Dankwa said this when briefing the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the items been retrieved including, four gun butts, six gun barrels live ammunitions. Others are; live bullets and used AAA cartridges and several locally made guns and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police seized all their equipment been used in the manufacturing of the guns to the regional police head quarters as their exhibit. The five suspects will be arranged before the law court within the shortest possible time ASP, Amponsa said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bono east regional communication officer, ASP Amponsa Bosia Dankwa says they have embarked on this exercise to help reduce crimes rates in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He disclosed that the five suspects were been picked through their intelligence led operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bono east regional police commander, DCOP Moses Atibilla speaking to the Nkyeremu News pleaded with Ghanaians to provide the police with information to pick all suspects to face the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The commander says they will continue with this exercise to bring out all the bad nuts in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has been the second successive swoop of deadly weapons within two weeks period in the Bono East region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
