The Health Center at Yagha in the Jirapa municipality of the Upper West Region is in dire need of infrastructure to operate as a standard health center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The in-charge of the health center, Ernest Adablah in an interview says the facility lacks beds, detention rooms, laboratories among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He says lack of accommodation facilities for staff and equipment are the other challenges, which needed to be addressed in earnest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Assemblyman of the area revealed that the facility which was established in 1971 had no known project from any government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, the community had been initiated through the support of the queen mother of the area to construct a laboratory and detention rooms for the health center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He calls on government and other stakeholders to come to their aid and support their agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
