When will these by-force marriages end here in Ghana? A 55-year-old man marries a 17 teenage girl. In the process of the marriage ceremony, the teenage girl wept bitterly, but nothing changed the thought of both brides’ families.
Why do most such marriages happen in the northern part of Ghana and particularly in the Muslim communities?
From the look of things, will this teenage girl be sincere to this old man in their marriage?
Can’t the law separate them? Due to poverty, the girl has stopped schooling.
