Ghana’s telecommunication system faces a shutdown as its workers are set to embark on a nationwide strike from Monday, September 5th.
The striker, declared by all executives of the Ghana telecom union, who have registered their anger over poor salaries and accessories to work.
A statement has been signed by the general secretary of the TIP, Israel Edem Agbegbor. According to him, the authorities had always turned down their request for salary increments and fringe benefits.
