The Assin Central constituency member of parliament, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has vowed to contest in the NPP’s presidential race to lose the seat of MP. He says he prefers to contest in the highest title of the land than to stage again as an MP.
He said he has served the Assin Central for enough time to move forward. Hon Kennedy Agyapong sharing his thought said the seat of the presidency deserved a person who has the character to take bold decisions that will have a positive result.
Kennedy Agyapong is more convinced that he is going all out to win the NPP presidential primaries and also win the ultimate in the 2024 elections.
Others also have the view that it is most likely that Kennedy Agyapong will lose both the presidential slot and the Assin Central seat as well.
