A very sad development of the first president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who has gone blind and received monthly pension pay of 47 Ghana cedis cried bitterly at the bank.
Sources say, his transportation alone to the bank cost 15 cedis. He has a wife with four children. Due to his poor monthly earnings, he failed to educate the children.
Why can’t the state cater to such people, who have served the former and the first president of Ghana?
