It has become so clear that over 95 percent of the major rivers in Ghana are all being polluted. The rivers that used to serve the various communities with drinking water and domestic use have now turned into polluted rivers.

All the fish and other reptiles serving as meat for mankind are no more in existence. Apart from illegal mining activities destroying all our water bodies, farmland and forest reserves are now galamsey fields which are mainly operated by the very leaders of Ghana, including chiefs and politicians.

Among the few polluted rivers are, River Bia, River Amoya, River Ankobra and River Tano among others.
