The US based, Dr. Dona Cooper-Dockery, the founder of the Faithful Path Teaching Hospital at Forikrom has commended the site contractor for exhibiting a high-class approach to the Ultra-Modern Three-Thousand-Bed Capacity Hospital at Forikrom in the Techiman municipality of the Bono East region. It will serve as an Adventist mission hospital with quality services.

Dr. Dona Cooper Dockery believed the hospital after its completion will serve most patients in Ghana and beyond. She said the hospital is going to generate more job opportunities for several Ghanaians. Dr. Dona Cooper Dockery pleads with Ghanaians to support the funding.

The CEO of TEK International Construction Limited, Ernest Tetteh said the SDA Forikrom Faithful Path Hospital is US standard with two heliports, one at the top of the roof and the floor landing including vehicular terminals.

He said this will help to receive emergency cases on time. Ernest Tetteh said the hospital is set to address both minor and major cases, mostly treated in advanced countries.

The Faithful Path Teaching Hospital is a complete community with both junior and senior staff apartments to provide immediate services at any point in time. These conditions make the Faithful Path Teaching Hospital at Forikrom an outstanding one in Ghana and the sub-region. It has 12 elevators to facilitate the movement of people with disabilities.

The CEO Ernest Tetteh in his address called for 200 permanent workers at the site to enable them to complete the building before 3 years’ time.

Dr. Pastor Amo kyeremeh the Director of Health for the West Central Africa Division of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Abidjan Headquarters on the occasion praised Dr. Dona Cooper Donkery and her family for establishing one of the high-standard Teaching Hospitals at Forikrom to provide the best quality health care in the Bono east region and beyond.

The founder, of the Faithful Path Teaching Hospital, Dr. Dona Cooper Dockery, was accompanied by her mother and sister during the inspection. She has expressed happiness about the solid foundation work that had been done.

In her appreciation, she thanked Dr. Paul Amo kyeremeh who is behind the chalked successes of Faithful Path Teaching Hospital at Forikrom, and the traditional leaders of Techiman for releasing 40 acres of land for the hospital.

Dr. Dona Cooper Dockery thanked, churches, NGOs, and individuals who have supported her to reach this far. Dr. Dona is calling for more funding to make her dream of the Faithful Path Teaching Hospital a reality since she alone cannot do it.
