The legendary Captain Smart of TV3 morning host who was picked up yesterday on his way home by the national intelligence bureau-NIB has been released and working.
The reason for his unfortunate arrest yesterday by the BNI(NIB) was surprising to many Ghanaians. It is time that the government gives the media a break of freedom to operate. Captain Smart propagating the very realities of the illegal mining in Ghana is a warning and exposure to help the government pick up the menace and not he to be arrested.
The second arrest of Captain Smart by the NIB is to silence him, but it rather sells him more because he has always been on top of issues.
