The most expensive product in the world is food, but because we buy food with a little amount of money daily, many have not taken that as a huge cost. Our food expenses are more costly than anything else.
How many people can live for a week without food? There is none. It is possible to park your car for many years. It is also possible to decide not to buy any clothing for a year or more life will still go on, but you can’t deny food for just three days. Food is our fuel to make the whole body fit and strong.
Today, food vendors have decided to sell banku separately from the okra stew because the ingredients are too dear. You buy fufu and buy soup, you buy rice and buy stew separately.
It is sad, Ghana can’t produce common fertilizer, NPP government always blames Russia and Ukraine’s war for the Ghanaian economic crisis. Ghana can’t produce a common toothpick, yet Nana Akufo Addo has established IDIF in all districts and the regional capitals.
Ghana relies on poor neighboring countries for common green pepper, tomatoes, maize, and the rest. All the same, the NPP government brags about dams and irrigation, including food and job creation.
Sadly, Ghana cannot process common mango, orange, and watermelon into fruit juices how then do you expect to get revenue?
It is only at the time of food and job creation that a bag of maize hits 600 Ghana cedis, you can run, but you can’t hide!
When you use your mouth to create factories that don’t exist, the result is the dollar hikes, Nana must go!
