Nana Addo who complained bitterly about 4 cedis to a dollar in 2016 has now hit 15 cedis to a dollar.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu Member of Parliament, has once again disclosed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently travelled to Germany and England on a private plane, spending an astounding GHC3.46 million.
The president allegedly chartered another opulent jet for over £15,000 per hour on his latest travels, according to the North Tongu MP, following widespread public outcry over his choice to spend over 2.4 million Ghanaian cedis on private jets in May.
In a post on his Facebook page, Ablakwa said that the president had recently taken excursions totalling an astounding $574,000.
“The taxpayer has been taxed once more to the enormous extent of US$574,000.00, using the conservative cost of US$14,000 per hour and the two visits to the UK and Germany, which require approximately 28 hours of travel time in and out in addition to an extra 13 hours of pick-up and drop-off time. This translates to an astounding 3.46 million Ghana Cedis at the current exchange rate.
It is time for Ghanaians to think twice about the false messages by the political flagbearers who are all false prophets.
