The founder of the Oil For Light Ministry International, Pastor Oheneba Kusi Amoah, has emphasised the importance of praise and worship in every sermon, describing it as a cherished offering to God. Speaking at the launch of the church, Elon Choir in New Krobo, Techiman, Bono East region, Pastor Amoah highlighted the critical role that a choir plays in enhancing worship within the church setting.

The Oil For Light Ministry International, which was established in 2023 by Pastor Oheneba Kusi Amoah with only a handful of members, has witnessed remarkable growth over the past two years. From its modest beginnings, the church now boasts a congregation of hundreds, a testament to its dynamic leadership and vibrant worship culture.

During the launch event held last Sunday, Pastor Amoah expressed his joy and gratitude to God for the ministry’s progress and the enthusiastic involvement of its members. He noted that the choir’s establishment was a key milestone in fostering deeper spiritual connection during services.

“God cherishes praises and worship,” Pastor Amoah stated to the congregation gathered for the occasion. “When we worship God wholeheartedly, it pleases Him greatly. The choir plays a major role in leading the people in worship and helping us to connect spiritually during sermons.”

The Pastor encouraged church members and attendees to actively participate in the choir, calling it a vital ministry that not only beautifies worship but also enriches the spiritual atmosphere of each service. He acknowledged the time, talent, and dedication required to serve in the choir and thanked everyone involved for their commitment.

Furthermore, Pastor Amoah expressed appreciation for the unwavering support from the congregation and the local community. “Our growth from just a few individuals to hundreds today could not have been possible without your loyal support. We are thankful to each of you for standing with this ministry as we continue to labour in God’s vineyard,” he remarked.

The launch ceremony included an inspiring musical presentation by the newly formed choir, which captivated the audience with soulful hymns and praise songs. The event also provided an opportunity for members to unite in fellowship and renew their commitment to advancing the ministry’s vision.

Church officials announced plans to expand the choir’s activities, including regular rehearsals, music workshops, and outreach programs aimed at promoting worship through song in the broader community.

As Oil For Light Ministry International continues its upward trajectory, the foundation laid by Pastor Oheneba Kusi Amoah and the establishment of the choir are seen as crucial elements in nurturing the spiritual life of the congregation while glorifying God through praise and worship.
