Waaf Agro Chemical Company Limited has donated farming inputs worth Gh 77,000 to the Ministry of Agriculture and Bono East Region ahead of the 41st Farmers’ Day celebration. Bono East will host the event in the Sene West District at Kwamedanso. The donation was spearheaded by the company’s director

and CEO, Ofa Addo, along with his team. The Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, who received the items, commended Ofa Addo for his outstanding generosity and commitment to Ghanaian farmers.

Hon. Owusu Antwi praised WAAF Agro Limited for its continuous support to the government at the Green Ghana project, which he counted as an indelible mark.  The regional minister also encouraged other individuals and organisations to emulate WAAF Agro Limited’s dedication by contributing meaningfully to Ghana’s economy through support for the agricultural sector and others.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Ofa Addo emphasised WAAF Agro Limited’s mandate to help Ghanaian farmers profit from their hard work and sweat. He urged farmers to adopt modern agricultural technologies, especially in light of climate change challenges, to improve farm yields and secure reasonable profits.

Ofa Addo stressed the importance of innovation and adaptation in farming practices as vital tools for sustaining agriculture and enhancing income for farmers in the region and beyond.

This generous donation by WAAF Agro Limited is seen as key in supporting government efforts to boost farming productivity and celebrate the vital role farmers play in Ghana’s food security and economic development.

The 41st Farmers’ Day celebrations in Bono East stand to benefit immensely from such private sector partnerships, strengthening both agricultural capacity and community livelihoods.
