The municipal chief executive of the Sunyani west in the Bono region, Hon Justina Owusu Banahene who replaced the ministry of health and the Bono regional minister has praised the private health care facilities in the country for their good health care services for the people.
Hon Justina Owusu Banahene said this at the launch of Bosomtwi Urology hospital in Sunyani.
She said the Bosomtwi Urology private hospital in Bono region will serve several regions across the country.
Hon Justina Owusu Banahene described the health facility as one of the best urology hospitals in the country and needs to be acknowledged.
She said it is uncommon to see a new health facility with a 30-bed room capacity with the advanced urology theatre equipment.
The MCE said the facility will serve general OPD cases with their well-qualified doctors and nurses. She added, the government needs more of such a private partnership to help Ghana moving forward.
Hon Justina Owusu Banahene said when health workers are on the hostage, it is the private health services that save the patients.
She said though the government could not cater for most of the private health facilities’ needs but it is time the government provides some health facilities to the private health services.
Hon Justina Owusu Banahene saluted the founder of the Bosomtwi Urology hospital, Boateng Bosomtwi for been established in Sunyani.
Dr. BB said Sunyani is the vantage point to serve most of the people across the country with the best medical services.
