
All is set for the Bono East region to host the 36th edition of the farmers’ day celebration in a grand style.
This was been disclosed to the Nkyeremu News team by the Bono East Regional Director of Agriculture, Cecelia Keja.
She said, the grounds for the occasion is almost set and left with the only the erection of tents and decorations.
Mrs Cecelia Keja said all hotel reservations have been made to host the dignitaries including the farmers who have been selected for awards.
She said, the 36th edition of the farmers day celebration in the Bono East regional would be a memorable occasion for all those who may witness the day.
Madam Cecelia Keja said, the visitors from elsewhere will also have the opportunity to visit the attractive tourist centres in the Bono East region as bonus of their trip.
The Bono East director of Agriculture, Cecelia Keja is calling on Ghanaians to witness the 36th farmers celebration to to learn new farming technologies to enhance their production.
Techiman had the chance to witness their first farmers day celebration in 2008. This will be the second time that the people of Techiman, now the Bono East regional capital will be witnessing another grand 36 farmers day celebration.
