Tindaamas Apologises To Tongraan For Misconduct

 

The Tindaamas Association led by the Tindaamas have apologised to the Tongraan and the Talensi Traditional Council for been ignorantly signed dubious documents.

This unfortunate incident had also bred tension among Tindaamas and Yongraan over mining issue in the Talensi district of the Upper West region.

The chairman of the Tindaamas Association, Separt Tindan Kenkenbil Belbazaa described, this as unfortunate. He again expressed worry about power abuse and land ownership claimed by His Royal Highness, Tongraan which the Tindaamas disagreed.

The quoted statements in the said news publication were part of letters purportedly written and endorsed by the Tindaamas to the Environmental Protection Agency and to the Tongraan over piece of land issue concerning Earl international Group Gold limited.

The District Chief executive for Talensi Dr Christopher Boatbil who was present at the traditional council meeting thanked the traditional council for their mutual resolution. He pleaded with them to remain calm as Ghana getting close to polls.

The deputy acting police commander of the upper West region, DCOP Alexander Amenyoh also praised the chiefs for their understanding. He pleaded with the people ensure total peace before and after the elections.
