The Otumfuo’s Nsumankwahehe, Baffour Asabre Kogyawoasu Ababio III has blamed the media for promoting fetish priests on TV, Radio and online.
He says the media play major role in steering the affairs of fetish priests and pastors to rob Ghanaians who prefer cheap money.
Sumankwahene says it is the media who does pictures and videos editing beyond doubts to convince people to send their money for double money.
He says others are engaged in faked gold deals which are all guided by the media houses and their staff.
Nana Sumankwahene addressing the media at Bredi yam festival celebration pleaded with the government and the ministry of information to arrest and prosecute all media houses and the fetish priests involved in the money double scam to book without hesitation.
The Chief fetish priest of Bono East and Bono region, Nana Ankomako Agyei also condemned the act.
The fetish priest of Bredi, Nana Kwadwo Agyei speaking to the media said they would no longer tolerate the uncouth behaviour of few fetish priests who have adopted falsehood to drain people with their money.
Nana Kwadwo Agyei says, very soon they will ban all fetish priests who use foul means to rob others from all activities.
