Wenchi Municipal Assembly in the Bono Region has donated Personal Protection Equipments to various stakeholders across the Municipality.
The stakeholders include, the Wenchi Traditional Council, the Local Council of Churches, the Muslims Council, GPRTU, PROTOA, and Radio West Africa FM among others.
The items presented were ten thousand reusable nose masks and ten thousand Adonko branded hand sanitizers.
Dr. Prince Kwakye Afiriyie, the Municipal Chief Executive who made the presentation said it was the Assembly’s contribution to help combat the spread of the virus in the municipality.
All ready the Assembly have donated about 15,000 PPEs to the various schools across the Municipality to help combat the spread of the virus in our schools the MCE said.
He urged the stakeholders to continue to strictly adhere to Covid-19 preventive protocols as the country navigates another surge in confirmed cases.
Reverend Amoako Adoma, the District Pastor of the Temple of Praise praised the assembly for the support.
